July, 1998


Subjective:

The patient was referred to our office for surgical exposure and direct bonding of gold chains in order to orthodonticly erupt impacted maxillary canines.

Objective:

Medical history revealed a 14 y.o. white female with no known drug allergies or history of operations. The maxillary right and left primary canines were still present. Panoramic radiographs revealed teeth #'s 6 and 11 to be impacted. Orthodontic appliances were noted on the maxillary and mandibular dentition.

  3. Direct Bonding of Gold Chains via Helical Loop for Orthodontic Movement
