Case of the Month

Subjective:

The patient presented to our office complaining of swelling of her lower lip that had been present for one month after biting her lip. The area had increased in size.

Objective:

The patient is a 15 y.o. female with a negative medical history. Examination revealed a smooth surface, ovoid, submucosal mass that measured 2 cm x 1.5 cm. Radiographic examination was negative. During excision of the lesion amber color fluid was encountered.
